I chose to teach Pet First Aid because I believe our animals deserve the same level of care, compassion, and preparedness that we offer to the people in our lives. Pets are family, and in an emergency, the moments before veterinary care is available can make all the difference. I wanted to be part of empowering pet owners with the knowledge and confidence to act quickly, safely, and effectively when their animals need them most.

Through my experience, I’ve seen how fear and uncertainty can prevent people from stepping in during a crisis. Teaching Pet First Aid allows me to replace that fear with practical skills, clear thinking, and calm action. Whether it’s recognizing signs of distress, managing injuries, or responding to life-threatening situations, I am passionate about helping others feel capable and prepared.

I also value the connection that forms between people and their pets. By teaching these skills, I’m not only helping to protect animals—I’m strengthening that bond and promoting responsible, informed care. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where individuals feel confident asking questions, practicing skills, and leaving with tools they can truly rely on.

Ultimately, I teach Pet First Aid because I care deeply about animal welfare and community education. If I can help even one person feel ready to respond in an emergency and improve the outcome for a beloved pet, then I know I’m making a meaningful impact.
